Constitution amendment commitee recomend scraping of section 29 of the Nigerian constitution which speack about person who can Renounce Citizensihp of the country the section stepuleted “any person of full age thats 18 and abov however section 29 (4)b says any married woman is deem to be of full age“ thats even if she is not up to 18ys . Bt the senate voted 60/35 -35 in favour of the sectiont agasnt 60 this maks it inposible to delet the section. The implication here if removed young mothers are not citizens so also their children are not citizens. The uprour that greted out come of this siting by various media oganization an public lecturers who were silent over the section for years is a clear sign that shows hypocrits and underground schemers were disappointed..
