MUGGY WEATHER Watch By Meteorologist Malika Dudley Mostly cloudy this afternoon and evening with a chance of locally heavy showers and thunderstorms as afternoon sea breezes develop. Winds are variable from 5 to 15 mph with highs in the mid 80s to maybe even 90 in some spots. Because of the high humidity it may feel even hotter than the temperature might indicate. The second half of the work week we expect more stable conditions but the light winds and muggy weather expected to stick around. Surfwise, long period SSW swell builds in, peaking Wednesday at about head high or more at standout spots. Trade swell gradually fading. New NW swell building this afternoon with up to shoulder high waves on the sets by evening. Sunset tonight at 6:14pm Sunrise tomorrow at 6:17am UV index at 10 (very high exposure level)
