MUJURU COURTS STRIVE MASIYIWA, MDCT Embattled Vice President - TopicsExpress

MUJURU COURTS STRIVE MASIYIWA, MDCT Embattled Vice President Joice Mujuru, whose faction is now Sodom and Gomorra is reportedly courting International business mogul Strive Masiyiwa and Morgan Tsvangirais MDCT for a possible financial support pact and a political coalition respectively. Mujuru, who is said to have tendered her resignation from government early this week was asked to stay put and sort out her mess according to reports. But the Vice President is now said to be pursuing a do or die strategy that has seen her sent a delegation to South Africa seeking a possible financial lifeline from Econet boss Strive as well as look at ways in which she could cooperate with the opposition MDCT to dislodge President Mugabe from power. Tsvangirais recently elected Treasurer General Theresa Makone and Secretary General Douglas Mwonzora are said to have gone out on a fund raising mission in South Africa where they are also meeting Mujuru allies and Strive Masiyiwas representatives with a view to establish common understanding and in the end create a grand coalition capable of defeating ZANU PF from power. However, ZANU PF hardliners who have already been briefed of the plot have welcomed the development saying it will go a long way in vindicating claims that the Vice President has always worked against the objectives of the revolutionary ZANU PF party through working with former Rhodesians, opposition parties and foreign embassies to effect regime change in Zimbabwe. Strive Masiyiwa also risks losing his mobile communication services license and bringing down his whole business empire if the plot succeeds. The Zimbabwean electorate can not easily be swayed by money considering the role played by the security services during election time in reminding and educating masses about the ills of the Smith regime which oppressed and suppressed the black majority for more than 100 years. The people have not forgotten the blood that was shed for the countrys independence and any betrayal by those once in senior positions shall be met with the strongest response possible.
