MULTAN Former foreign minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Vice Chairman Makhdoom Shah Mehmood Qureshi has said that the country was faced with a complex situation and the ongoing year 2014 was the year of trial for the rulers. Addressing the concluding ceremony of 700th three-day annual Urs of saint Hazrat Shah Ruknuddin Alam here the other evening, he added that many changes were likely to take place in the region during current year while the enemies wanted to change the geography of Pakistan by spreading chaos in the country. May Allah thwart the vicious intentions of these miscreants and steer us out of prevailing crisis, he prayed. Speaking on the occasion, Jamaat Ahle Sunnat Ameer Allama Mazhar Saeed Kazmi said that those who wanted to enforce Shariah in the country at gunpoint would never let true Shariah be enforced in Pakistan. He asked the participants of the Urs to make a commitment that they would not miss any prayer and adopt the path virtue. JUP Secretary General Sahibzada Shah Owais Noorani said that blasphemy law would be protected at all costs and the Sunnis of Pakistan would not let any amend to this law. Beware! Secularists, your agenda will never succeed, he warned secular powers. Earlier, the proceedings of 700th three-day annual Urs of Hazrat Shah Ruknuddin Alam ended here at Qila Qasim Bagh.
