MULTI-FAITH CENTRE & ITS WORK We are delighted that we now have a base and office for our FN4M activities, parties, meetings. It’s a lovely cosy place on the 2nd floor of Ada House. Very welcoming and refreshments always on offer. So far we have hosted many festive parties – end of year Divali, Christmas & Hannuka party, earlier held an ‘Ifthar’ breaking of the fast party, a literary reading event with an Australian author, Ali Cobby Eckermann, a musical event, peace malas, Yoga & regular interfaith dialogues as well as the special women events I will mention in another post. Our conference on ‘Health & Faith’ was a huge success. We have also taken part in events hosted by other providers. For instance Bob & I attended an event about the Palestinian Christians at a church in Stockport, ‘Tackling Islamophobia’ at the British Muslim Heritage Centre & Adam Day event at the Sheridan Suite. Schools visits have taken place around Manchester. We have held and attended many events with Muslim Jewish forum, including at the Jewish Museum & Ukrainian Centre. Jonny and I are also members of MJF, therefore, this is an added strength and results in much team work.
