MUSCLE CAR TO RAISE BIG BUCKS FOR CHARITY #SKPOLI #YQR #YXE Premier Brad Wall was all smiles as he showed off his 1968 Shelby Mustang GT500 clone in front of the legislature on Thursday. The car was purchased for 58-thousand dollars earlier this year and has been getting a complete Roughrider makeover to get it ready for Fridays live-auction. All money raised from the sale will go to charities including the Alzheimers Society of Saskatchewan and Football Saskatchewan. Premier Wall says it was nervous going driving down to the legislature knowing the guys who spent hundreds of man-hours building the muscle car would be on hand. It seemed the Premiers favorite accessory was what he calls a getting grocery switch where with the flick of the finger the roaring exhaust can be reduced significantly in order to stop babies from waking up as the car purrs by. The premier estimates all-in the car cost 250 thousand dollars to get to its current condition. Auction is Friday at 9pm.
