#MUSCLEMEMORY Tip of the day: how to control a movement through a FULL range of motion (Stretch--->Squeeze) without losing muscle tension every@rep. As I am sure a lot of you have heard the term Time Under Tension (TUT) which refers to keeping muscle fibers loaded in constant but variable contraction through the reps of a set. It still has an eccentric and concentric part to the movement but is not into full relaxation. What does all that making it more complicated than it needs to be just to confuse people terminology mean? Its what should be applied to every movement period. And that is how to obtains a Stretch and Squeeze in the greatest range of motion possible without losing control of the contraction. Often youll see losing control of the contraction when an individual locks out a joint at the stretch portion of the movement and rocks into the full squeeze. So here I demonstrates where stretch is achieved in the bent over row without losing my contraction fully. This will actually build up the tension in the muscle (as TUT revolves around) but still hits the whole part of the primary muscles involved. So lets not use TUT as an excuse for half reps. Just go by the feel. If it means drop weight, drop weight. If it means go slower, Go slower. Its all by feel. So the IG critics can sit unless they are there feeling the full stretch&squeeze. Youll see Phil Heath doing what may be half squats to you, and the next guy doing a deep squat. Where each body achieves the tensioned stretch&squeeze will vary. So go less of looking and more off understand what you should feel. #MuscleMemory #MuscleandFashion #MuscleandFashionpresentsMUSCLE #traininghowwetrain #traininghowyourbodyneedstotrain #feelit #stretchandsqueeze #JoeParsee #BodyBuilder #NaturalPro #Trainingtips #onlinetraining
