MUSIC CD REVIEW COLLIDE by BOYZ II MEN.....New sound, same talent; thank you guys for recording an album for the mature listener, unlike that crap New Edition had in 2004 with Puffy and Beyoncé latest dud. What a perfect blend of R&B and Pop from this male vocal ensemble, now down to 3 members. Michael McCrary reportedly left for health reasons. The set kicks off with ME MYSELF & I, an uptempo groove, then gears into the 50s vibe for WHAT HAPPENS IN VEGAS, right into the pop gem of DIAMOND EYES. Theyre not trying to appeal to the young crowd, they want the REAL MUSIC LOVER for this musical masterpiece. Cant forget to mention the great songs BETTER HALF, UNDERWATER, BELIEVE US, DONT STOP, ALREADY GONE and LOSING SLEEP. Welcome back Boyz II Men, your sophisticated brand of soul was indeed missing. This definitely does hitthemarc. 7.5/10
