[MUST LISTEN] Shame man. Despite being in a nasty car accident on his way to Power House this morning, including a trip to hospital, flamboyant broadcaster Lupi Ngcayisa was my monthly co-anchor on Power Talk today! We had a great time and laughed and debated and more, exploring three topics over the hour of co-presenting the show: a) should the constitution reflect the views of the majority? (Lupi interviewed Steven Friedman who offered an interesting view as you will hear); b) Is it ok for media personalities to campaign for political parties? (This led to heated debate with listeners when Lupi explained that he is campaigning for the ANC and that that should not be an issue for the public) c) Is Jazz cool (Lupi is obsessed with it) or pretentious (my view - barring very exceptions like Nina Simone & Gregory Porter)?
