MUST READ LETTER TO ANDREW BOLT Andrew Bolt is a rabid right wing columnist in the local press whose views on most topical issues are so predictable that they obviate the reading. I noticed yesterday that while he and other columnist of his ilk (Miranda Devine) were dismissively antagonistic of the protest marches that have taken place in March in contestation of PM Tony Abbot’s right wing policies, not one of these columnists actually had anything to say as to the very important nature of the issues and causes of the march, such as for instance, the Trans Pacific Partnership Agreement in process of secret negotiation and which will ‘fling up and fling down the structures of our society as the marketplace orders’ (John Ralston Saul). For reasons of this veiled, politically invested hypocrisy, this letter from Lyndon Morley is an absolute must read.
