SUPPORT THE MOVEMENT!!!!! gofundme/chasitymartin2016 My name is Chasity Martin. Im an 18 Year old from Pompano Beach, Florida. Im a senior student at Monarch High school, with the hopes of being a part of the 2016 USA Olympic Women’s Boxing Team. My boxing journey began when I was just 14 years old. I was teenage girl getting in trouble for altercations in school and also in my neighborhood because of bullies. I needed an alternative way to channel my energy in a more positive way. I found a gym named 12th Round Boxing and MMA Fitness Center, where I thought could train and get better at boxing, but they had different plans. They introduced me to the idea of strip club boxing where girls like myself would fight for fast money in the local strip clubs. Although I didnt get involved, I met an older girl who had been fighting in the clubs. Surprisingly she didnt try and convince me to fight with her, she actually tried to deter me away from it because how young I was and also saw that I had plenty of potential in (real) boxing. While training at the gym I met a guy named Stacy McKinley, who was a well renowned boxing coach which was unbeknownst to me at the time, he realized I was serious about boxing when I stated I wanted to be like Lalia Ali. Four years later he has trained me up to be the #3 boxer in the country!
