MVD Reasi organizes Medical camp under road safety week REASI, JANUARY 16: Motor Vehicle Department Reasi in collaboration with IRP 1st Battalion Reasi organized a medical checkup camp in connection with 26th Road safety week here today. The camp was inaugurated by Commandant IRP 1st Battalion Reasi- R R Manotra, IPS. The camp comprising a team of doctors of different specialization checked up eyes, blood pressure, blood sugar and other communicative diseases where besides transporters, staff members of MVD Reasi office were also consulted. Many other medical tests were also conducted to diagnosis the diseases. DIO-Parvinder Kour, ARTO-Rajesh Gupta, Principal GBHSS-MM Khajuria, MVD Inspector-Vikas Srivats, District Traffic Inspector-Rajesh Jammal, prominent Citizens of Reasi, President Matador Union Reasi, large number of drivers and conductors were also present on the occasion. While addressing the participants, ARTO Reasi stressed upon the gathering to follow the traffic rules. He urged drivers for regular medical checkup especially eyes that can bring safety during driving. He stressed to have complete reliable documents while driving. The drivers and conductors were also provided literature about tips on maintaining good health. Speaking on the occasion, R R Manotra appealed the drivers to remain health cautious and ensure routine medical examination. He asked the drivers to pay attention towards their health as fitness is detrimental to safe driving adding that a healthy driver is a guarantee of healthy driving.
