MY ADCC TRIALS X TSUNAMI IN SAN DIEGO STORY|| In 2011, I, alongside my good friends Emilio N. Novoa and Shawn Fowler helped organize the West Coast trials of the ADCC North American Championships. The event was scheduled to happen at the San Diego armory, but, the day before the event, a Tsunami was scheduled to hit the area, and the venue was transformed into the official evacuation center. Only president Obama could have over ruled that decision at that point. So, with 3 hours notice, we found another venue..the hotel ballroom. The event went off without a hitch and had some of the craziest matches in ADCC Trials history with fighters such as Jeff Glover, Joel Tudor, Shawn Williams, Baret Yoshida, Jason Manly, Enrico Cocco, Penny Thomas, Cat Zingano MMA Fighter,, and many more!
