MY ANSWER TO Dear Faizan Muhammad ON His 10 REASONS NOT TO SUPPORT AZADI MARCH? 1. 14 th August is National day as well as AZADI March is a nation’s day to get rid of Govt that came as a result of Most rigged elections in History of Pakistan. Azadi March is not at all Imran Khan’s day(like his birthday) but its mine your’s and nation’s day. 2. Aggressive action by IK or PTI is not something that happened over night. This is a result of Not being listened to open 4 constituencies. Imran Khan was saying it from day 1 that he will cald Historic Protest once his demands regarding Voter verification is not listened and fulfilled.PAT and MQM were biggest supporters of Military Operation while PTI Opposed it for a long time. If PAT and MQM (Supporters of Military Op) can continue their Political activities at large than why not PTI. PTI has always been with Army but Political activities/ state business can not be shut mearly because a military Op is being done by Army. 3. IDP’s issue seems a logical reason but the issue is mostly related to KPK Govt while azadi march has been called by PTI as Political Party not as KPK Govt. Still hope IKF is still involved to much extent to serve IDP’s 4. Was it moral act by PM Nawaz Sharif and his party not to Open 4 Constituencies for verification even when it was announced by PM in National assembly floor. Was it moral to Open firing on PAT workers? Was it moral to shut whole Islamabad , close all bridges , roads because of protest of a political party? Was it moral not to allow MQM workers for carrying food items for PAT protestors? THERE IS NO NEED FOR IMMORAL PEOPLES LIKE NAWAZ SHARIF TO RULE THE COUNTRY 5. Personally I am against TUQ but for some political party its not must it should have some seats in Assembly. One should accept he has a backing of millions of people of Pakistan. In current electoral process only PPP and PML N will get elected again and again. So as TUQ and Imran khan have demanded for reforms in electoral process.. Still PTI Leaders have sidelined them and PTI from demands and ideology of TUQ… 6. 6 your point says it all. It proves Imran Khan is not doing this all for himself but for sake of nation, for sake of true democracy 7. So you are talking of judiciary that has remained Pro Nawaz from 2008 or Judiciary that allowed bail of Gullu butt yesterday… No need to back/ support this judiciary or such judicial system.. 8. Yes His policy is Punjab centric because of reason that he lost many of his seats from because of Electoral rigging. Before elections most of his focus was Punjab. Imran khan is not crying over Balochistan and Interior Sindh because he had less chances from getting good seats from there. While PML N(Ruling party in centre) is crying over election rigging in Sindh including Ismail rahoo of PML N(Your constituency as I think) WHAT A PITY… 9. His stance on militancy is clear even more than other political leaders of Pakistan. He has never tried to justify Militancy but he do says to sideline from American war and if it is still your war , fight it in your own way. He backed dialogue process but at the same time he said for action against foreign militants who try to subbotage peace process. After dialogue he did also backed Military operation… ACCEPT IT OR NOT BUT PML N and PTI wre on the same page on Talks process where as Dollar takers were trying to hinder talks and open way for Military Op. 10. BIG(MUCH) of his focus in KPK is on education and PTI is trying its level best to bring a change in education. For this purpose Not only state budget is being used but Philanthropists have been asked for infrastructure improvement in Education sector. Still he can not bind Central govt to spend 4% on education. What he can is only demand for reforms…
