MY BROTHER ASKED ME, IN OUR LAST MEETING AT BOKSBURG, WHAT ADVICES - TopicsExpress

MY BROTHER ASKED ME, IN OUR LAST MEETING AT BOKSBURG, WHAT ADVICES I CAN GIVE FOR LIFE IMPROVEMENT. I was drunk and enjoying my Castle Lager. And I started my long lines of advices like.... When you get really angry, stick your hands in your pockets, because Ive seen many in jail because their violent hands acting. Do all you can to increase the salaries of good teachers, but I dont know why Im saying this, and my brother was laughing. I continued sipping my dumpy of Castle. At least once, date a woman with beautiful red hair. He asked me why and I answered just... Yes just. If you lend someone money, make sure his character exceeds the collateral. Then my brother asked what do I mean about collateral... I answered, hmmmm... you see brother, its where you know he have atleast goods you can sell if he doesnt pay you back. Whether its life or a horse that throws you, get right back on and my brother just nodded. Be cautious telling people how contented and happy you are. Many will resent it. He said Im true Hang up if someone puts you on hold to take a call waiting. Ive no reason but I just hate it. Accept the fact that regardless of how many times you are right, you will sometimes be wrong. But my brother toyed with me that Im mostly always right and I said NO, not to all humans Every once in a while ask yourself the question, “If money werent a consideration, what would I like to be doing?” Talk slow but think quick. When someone asks you a question you dont want to answer, smile and ask, Why do you want to know? And Castle Lager was enjoyable and now my brother was just listening. And I continued.... Dont admire people for their wealth but for the creative and generous ways they put it to Never betray a confidence. Never claim a victory prematurely. Never leave the kitchen when somethings boiling on the stove. My brother then seem to be attentive to this, as gentlemen we must learn to attend cooking, I confirmed Say bless you when you hear someone sneeze. Make the punishment fit the crime. Remember that just the moment you say, I give up, someone else seeing the same situation is saying, My, what a great opportunity. Then my brother laughed. For emergencies, always have change in your pocket and a ten dollar note hidden in your wallet. My brother responded eish youre right Dont let your family get so busy that you dont sit down to at least one meal a day together. Remember the three Rs: Respect for self; Respect for others; Responsibility for all your actions. When you lose, dont lose the lesson. Keep the porch light on until all the family is in for the night. And now for long pause as we enjoyed our beers, I continued, you see brother, life is something but.... Dont overlook lifes small joys while searching for the big ones. And I took my last gulp of beer in my hand and we started taking a walk.
