MY Cancellation email Dear Sir I thank you for your letter regarding my cancellation of my sky account after some 35 plus years, sorry cant remember exactly when I joined but it was near the beginning. In the early days I enjoyed your mix of sports indeed on several occasions I was a studio guest and on 1 occasion actually did a commentary. In those days Football did not pervade everything you do and the Game was reasonable for the people who played it and who went to see it sadly that is no longer the case and I have to say it was Sky who made this happen through offering such ridiculous amounts of money, sure I realise it was business. I would like to have continued but with your sports channels but showing a majority of football there was no way I could opt out. I have secured another deal at half the price which excludes Sky sports and includes Euro-sport. If you had offered a service which offers an opt out to say 3 channels showing only football leaving the other 2 to show the other sports I would have been delighted to stay with you. I doubt this will ever happen. In spite of the low regard for English football at present. I look forward to watching other sports programmes with out the most annoying promotions for football appearing mid way through events which have no connection to it.
