MY DAILY LIGHT [Tue. 12/9/2014] ON YOUR SIDE 2 KINGS 6:16 ELISHA SAID, DONT BE AFRAID, FOR THOSE WHO ARE WITH US OUTNUMBER THOSE WHO ARE WITH THEM. Commentary: The king of Aram plotted the invasion of Israel many times. But each time, someone foiled the plot. Who is revealing his plots to invade Israel? Imagine the kings frustration and anger when he was told that a certain prophet in Israel is the one foiling his plots. So he sent his forces to capture Elisha. When Elishas servant saw the massive army from Aram surrounding their home, he was frightened to the core. He went in to inform Elisha of the situation outside. But Elisha knew what was happening and how it will end. Elisha prayed that his servants eyes would be opened to what was happening spiritually so that he could see that they were not alone. Gods mighty forces protected them. Are you feeling overwhelmed today like Elishas servant? Are the problems that confront you stealing your peace? Are the threat of evil people and the wicked one causing panic attacks in your life? Well my friend, dont be afraid of what you are seeing, hearing or even feeling right now. Look at what is happening spiritually because God is waging the battle for you and He has guaranteed you victory. Your enemies may gather and plot evil against you, but their plots shall never stand. The enemies you see today - yes, all those troubling you right now, you will never see again. Listen friend, God is on your side. He is for you, in you and around you. He has encamped His powerful resources around you. Because God is for you, every weapon formed against you has failed. Every evil gathering against you has failed. Every decree, spells, divination, and all occult pronouncement against you have failed. Friend, God is for you. Who can be against you? Ask God today to open your eyes so that you may behold the mighty power He has prepared for your defense. Ask God to help you to see the active presence of His warring angels and the defense mechanisms around you now. Then you will not be afraid and never need to fear.
