MY FIRST YEAR AS A PROUD NEW RVer and my first RV TIPS Pulling into the parking pad after checking in. I truly felt in control and in-charge of our Motorhome all 40 foot. As I pulled through and parked I noticed an older man on a cane starting to seat down at a park bench. He seemed to be watching my every movement as I set the jacks, lowered the owning and hook-up water, cable. Looking over at him I smiled and said hello. He returned my hello asking how long I had been RVivg. A year sir I smilingly replied. A YEAR, he said with a smile on his aged face. Son he asked would it hurt your feeling if I gave you a few RV TIPS NO, sir, I am always open for a few words of advice. Well as we both were seating at the park bench and table. Well son, first before you should lower your jacks, you need to let the air out of them first. Looking over at my RV I noticed another RVer pulling in next to mine on the other side. I notice by looking under my RV. Yep it was that high off the ground. Next be began to let me know about my owning straps and that I should turn them a full turn before hooking them to the RV, Well sir now I understand the load noise as the wind would blow over the strap creating a musical note tone and by turning it there would be no wind noise. The next few days I made a new friend and learned a lot of good tips to explore ring our RV and all it had to offer us at any campsite. Hope you like the tips as more will come over time.
