(I have done it myself) This is from yesterdays e-Blast: My Good People, Our 7th Annual Summer Madness to Aruba is 48 hours away. DDT is Here to Stay!! It has been a bumpy road as of late, but the opportunity to see everyone enjoying themselves on the Pristine White Sand of Aruba, will make it all worthwhile. ****EXTRA HOTT-NESS IN ARUBA!!**** We will be doing a short video with Kurtis Blow and Billy Bill celebrating the 30 year Anniversary of the Hip Hop Classic: Basketball on our Monday Sports Jersey Night REGGAE Pool Party. Kurtis Blow will be Rapping and the DDT Family will be singing in the Background. We will shoot the video by the Pool--at Sunset--with the Aruba Beach and swaying Palm Trees in the Background. How Hott is that?? If you are going, and want to be in the video, make sure to have a Basketball Jersey on/ready. Sorry for the late notice--but it just happened--as things tend to do when Im involved. Let everyone know that its gonna be a Basketball night--and not our usual Monday Night Football Jersey Party. SUMMER MADNESS DRESS CODE FOR THE WEEK/ITINERARY: SATURDAY: Arrival. Relax setting. Get Familiar with the Resort. Meet and Greet is Very Casual. We will be distributing the DDT Welcome Guest Bags at the Casibari Room from 4-6pm. Also sign ups for the Spades/Dating Games/Twister If you dont get them then, we will also have them at the Meet and Greet later that night. You can also pick a different Mask at this time as well. We have over 80 styles. Dinner every night will be on your own at either the Sea Breeze Restaurant or Corals Restaurant. Dinner and Drinks are included in your package. There is a Hotel sponsored Event by the Oceanside Bar Saturday night, so you are free to attend the entertainment that night as well. We will have our Meet and Greet Party at Las Palmas Ballroom from 8 to 10pm. Make sure you get there EARLY. Drinks will be served and we will have music. If you didnt get your gift bags, please do so there. They dont have a Club on site, so people who want to Party the night away are able to walk outside to the Aruba Sand Bar or the Confessions Club--we are negotiating with them both for a package for our Party People for the time we are there. DDT Capos/Staff will be wearing their Purple Shirts on Saturday so you can identify them if you need assistance or have questions. SUNDAY: Beach it up all day! The Sermon on the Beach location will be announced Saturday night at the Meet and Greet. It will be at 11am. It wont be on the Beach of the Hotel as they dont allow Religious Observances in respect to their other Guests. It will be near-by though. We will all meet in front of the Hotel and leave together and walk there so PLEASE be prompt. We will start the Games that day: The Dating Game and Twister on the Beach. Look for the Pool Takeover to begin! Dinner will be on your own at either the Sea Breeze Restaurant or Corals Restaurant. Make sure you finish in time to get to the Ballroom as the FUN will be beginning IMMEDIATELY! Sunday Night is the ONLY time you need to bring the nice Clothes. Dress your Best for our Elegant Masquerade Ball (Masks will be provided). 8:30pm to 12:00am at the Palmas Ballroom. VIP/Red Carpet/Group Photo Shoot. Ladies will have the Annual Hott Shoes Contest. Music by the Legendary DJ Hollywood. Late night Party at Aruba Sand Bar or Confessions afterwards. MONDAY: Beach it up all day! Line Dance Instruction begins with Doug X-Man Hawkins at 11:00 in the Ballroom. He will be teaching a DDT Line Dance and I will be going this year to learn it! Games during the Day. We begin the Annual Spades Tournament. If you want to participate, please send me your name and partners name. If you dont have one, we can put you with someone. . Monday Night is the Sports Jersey Party. 7:00pm to 10:00pm. Dont forget your Basketball Jersey!!! We will be Outdoors by the Pool. Group Video with Kurtis Blow. Music by the Harlem Show Stopper DJ Danny Dee. We are in the process of adding a Videographer and Photographer to do the Video and the DDT Calendar for 2015. Late night Party at Aruba Sand Bar or Confessions afterwards. TUESDAY: Beach it up all day! Line Dance Instruction with Doug X-Man Hawkins from 11:00-1:00pm in the Ballroom. Games during the Day. Annual Spades Tournament continues. Dinner on own at Corals or Seabreeze Restaurants. DDT Old Skool Beach Party--7pm to 10pm--WEAR YOUR DDT PARTY SHIRTS!! Pictures taken for Group Photo. Music by the Legendary DJ Hollywood. Late night Party at Aruba Sand Bar or Confessions afterwards. WEDNESDAY: Beach it up all day! Line Dance Instruction with Doug X-Man Hawkins from 11:00-1:00pm in the Ballroom. Games during the Day. Annual Spades Tournament concludes. Dinner on own at Corals or Seabreeze Restaurants. Wednesday Night is the All White GLOW IN THE DARK Theme Party at the Palmas Ballroom from 8:30pm to 12:00am. Be sure to be there on time! We will be providing the Glow in the Dark accessories. Wear something COMFORTABLE and White--we are not dressing up--we WILL be Partying!! Music by DJ Danny Dee the Harlem Show Stopper. THURSDAY: Departure--Make sure to get some Food from the Hotel before you leave. Airline food sucks! LOL SHUTTLE INFO: We will be shuttled to and from the Airport by DePalm Tours. Once you have cleared Customs and you exit the Arrivals Terminal, you will see your DePalm Tours Representative. They will be in yellow and black uniforms and they will take you directly to the shuttles. If you do not immediately see a DePalm tours Representative, they have an office located directly across from, and to the left of, the Arrivals Terminal. They will be able to assist you. En route to the Resort, the driver will reconfirm your return transfer time. Once at the Resort, please visit their Customer Service Desk for any assistance or questions you may have. EXCURSIONS: DDT does not do Excursions, but will be available to assist those who want to take them. If you want to take excursions, please see Ana the DDT Under Boss.
