MY GROUSE WITH BUHARI - Aina Bridget In all honesty, I am not against the personality of General M. Buhari, what Im against is his choice of candidacy, and I also detest the APCs Hypocrisy, Holier than thou attitudes and pretence. I know, like many other right-thinking Nigerians that certificates have little or no relevance in good governance. The needed ingredients for good governance are integrity, and native intelligence. But in a situation where a product of corruption is forming-saint and seen by some chicken-brained Morons as the Messiah thatll tame the age-longed monster is ridiculous and absurd! The issue at hand is like wanting to make an hardened criminal a justice commissioner. Buhari is a criminal and should be treated as such. The questions begging for answers are; how did Pa Buhari manage to rise to the rank of General in the Nigeria Army? How did he manage to preside over Nigeria? It is shameful, seeing Nigeria routing for this type of fake character to be their president! My grouse with GMB is that he as a product of fraud, and corruption is now seeing as a saint, and holier than every Nigerian. This man worked with the Abacha government, the government that is dubbed the most corrupt government in the history of Nigeria, and even absorbed the regime of any wrong doing. Is this the man they are saying is a saint? Pa I will kill corruption should for the sake of God do the following if truly he wants Nigerians to take him serious on the issue of corruption: (1) He should tender unreservedly apologies to Nigerians for taking them for fools. (2) He should tell us how he got to the rank of General without having the basic, and necessary credentials needed to attain that post. (3) He should also tell us how he managed to contest for election in 1999, 2003, 2007, and 2011 without one of the essential constitutional requirements needed to contest for the number one position in the land. (4) He should tell us why he lied under oath and sworn to an affidavit that his certificates are with a non existence Board (5) He should honorably quit the race and handover the baton to Pastor Professor Yemi Oshinbajo (A Yoruba man) to fly the APCs flag against the Clueless GEJ These are what expected of Pa Muhammadu Buhari if truly he wants to see to the end of corruption in Nigeria! If native intelligence and integrity are the needed ingredients for good governance, does Pa Buhari have one? According to an online dictionary, Integrity is defined as Steadfast adherence to a strict moral or ethical code. The state of being wholesome; unimpaired the quality or condition of being complete; pure... How does Pa Buhari fall into this category? A tyrant that has no regard for the rights and lives of Nigerians? An ethnic bigot that selectively melted out injustice to Nigerians of other tribes different from his? Where is his integrity? APC that have been swift in castigating opposition should have at least condemned this latest revelation and chastise Pa Buhari for plunging them into this abysmal and fathomless disrepute; but their hypocritical attitude will only make them to see the toothpick in PDPs eyes, and will not allow them to see the Iroko tree in their own eyes.
