MY HERO, my husband - damn! life is pretty good, got to see may great-grandchildren and great-great niece, and the cornbread and chocolate pie wont too bad either. This statement was made by a man that has been battling renal cell cancer since 2005. During this time he has had a kidney, para-thyroid, part of his intestine, and part of his lung removed. He has a metal pin put in his leg because of bone deterioration throughout his body. Along With all this he has experienced a heart attack, a triple bypass, pneumonia and gone through 6 long different treatments of chemotherapy. He has had hospital stays in three different states and numerous blood transfusions. And, he thinks life is pretty good simply because most of his family visited him on Sunday!
