MY INBOX: Hey Travis, You dont know me, but I am entertained by your posts, daily. I really like the RELATIONSHIP 101: and sometimes I agree wholeheartedly with your friends and sometimes I disagree with them vehemently. Would you please post my situation? I am prepared for their responses. HERE GOES: My husband of 8 years and I, are in the process of getting a divorce. We have one kid together and I had a 2 year old when we met. He accepted my son but never adopted him. He added my son to his insurance and treated him like his own son. He calls him dad. (The bio was never involved.) Well, he is going to pay support for our natural son, but wont pay support for his stepson, even though he raised him as his own for 8 years and he is the only father that my son knows. I know many are going to call me names, but I just dont think it is fair that he accepted my son when we got together, now he dont want to continue the process. So, what happens when he come pick our other child up every other weekend? Leave his step son who called him dad all these years. I am hurting right now. I lost my marriage and now I am concerned about my sons heart, as well. THANK YOU. FAM, PLEASE SHARE YOU FEELINGS/EMOTIONS REGARDING THIS SITUATION. SHE WANTS FEED BACK.
