MY POEMS TODAY are about two men in my life, Don Alejandro Flores - TopicsExpress

MY POEMS TODAY are about two men in my life, Don Alejandro Flores Casuga+ and Don Jose Buenaventura+, paternal and maternal grandfathers respectively. They came to mind just now thinking about the wellsprings of skills and talents I fall on that I am retired, an old man doing what makes him happy while playing the waiting game in his windy spaces. A cousin and some FB friends blame Don Jose for my art and penchant for beauty (all types from the distaff to language and art). I must point to another man in my lfe: I cannot surpass Don Alejandros charisma as an erudite politician. @ In separate episodes of my life, so far, I have been in both worlds; still loving art up to now and hope to my dying day, but have retired---thank God---from politics (except that one at home :) ) These poems and those for my grandmothers (above post) celebrate these lingering vinculum with my ancestral influences. To them I owe love, gratitude, and gravitas. Muchisimas gracias mis estimados abuelos; con amor duradero,
