MY PRIVATE STASH FOR MAKING COMPOST TEA! My farm secrets revealed by John Musser Many of you know my testing with compost tea put us on the map. The leading experts in the world have come to see our setup or tried to get me to give them my secrets. Sometimes truth is given and we dont appreciate it. Thats why I charge for trainings. Mostly because people dont respect FREE things. If you neglect this post I feel sorry for you, if your are an organic gardener. Every once in a while I throw out a one ounce gold piece on this page and this is it! This is for those of you who faithfully follow and study this page. I do things differently - Once a year I mix a powerful bunch of organic materials. I fill the tumbler full - not progressively but all at once. One batch lasts me all year. * Rabbit Manure * Contents (half) of my Bio pod of soldier flies * Chicken manure * Some coffee grounds * Egg shells - dried a little best! * Some Organic green grass - one forth of tumbler * Spray down with fish waste. * Add a little un-sulfured molasses NOTE: If you dont have fish waste, soldier flies or un-sulfured molasses just use one pack of my living microbe mix. It will greatly accelerate the breaking down of the materials. When this is finished completely, I put it in a food grade plastic barrel and keep outside with the lid on in a cool area (under my shade tree) by my compost tea maker. When you add oxygen for 48 hours, trillions of dormant beneficials will make the best compost tea you ever had. The results are seen below.
