MY RANT !!!! DAY 104 ----Today Im grateful for the Ability to see through the hype of the media, and to connect with others who share in this passion of standing up for what is right. The ability to look at the big picture, and the ability to stand up for others who are put into a box and Labeled!!! I cannot stand seeing a person, neighborhood, or city Labeled in such a way. People want to label, instead of focusing on the Real Problems!!! They should offer solutions to fixing them, and actually doing it! I was recently looking at YouTube Videos in Various neighborhoods in Dayton. The Dayton View residents were interviewed about the Medias report on Gang Activity. The general consensus was that it was an absolute joke that The news would label the Dayton View in such a way. A few of the residents claimed that it is this type of media labeling that makes certain neighborhoods even less desirable to outsiders which creates an even bigger problem... To be blunt, this is an absolute embarrassment seeing one of our most Historic neighborhoods with so many problems, and then hearing that media is further labeling it which does nothing other than create additional problems!! The residents were interviewed and outraged and how Dayton View was labeled -- AND I QUOTE FROM ONE OF THEM --- This is propaganda aimed at keeping people with money from investing in these neighborhoods This is why I ask my Facebook contacts to look past the illusion. The good news is weve created a Platform to fight this epidemic!!!! A Platform and Non Profit To take pride in our neighborhoods and cities including those that have been given a bad image!!! We owe it to Ohio to come together and offer solutions for fixing these problems!!!!! This is the reason Ohio Realty Network was built!
