MY REFLECTION ON LOVE To better love our neighbor, we must take the place of this person. You must imagine yourself the conditions of that person and understand him or her. That is why Jesus love is great and authentic. He has left his status of God to come down to be man. He lived all that a man can live, therefore He is better placed to save us. To better love, you must also consider the fact that we are not all alike. That is why, while accepting the differences of others, you avoid imposing your self or your desire to reproduce yourself in others at any cost. You will always end up in disappointment if you dont accept do not accept a person as he is and want him to be like yourself. This attitude will end up in judgment, disappointment and rejection. That is why Jesus accepted us as we are and transforms progressively. He loved us while we were yet sinners. To better love his neighbor, love him as you love yourself. Because in fact you do not judge yourself; and even if you do, you will not do it forever. There is always somewhere in the heart of man, the self-love, the self-appreciation and the instinct of survival. We always end up forgiving ourselves the worst mistakes we have committed.
