MY RESPONSE to TRICIA SHORE, MEGAN MALACHI, and CHELSEA FLUTTERBY BEECH These women take me to the woodshed for my post about my experience at the MLK tribute. They accuse me of egotism, who do you think you are, and me wanting to exploit my white privilege. I feel that they spew this venom due to their preconceived ideas of white people, blinding them from being able to comprehend my extremely, easily understood post. I could not have made it any more clear. I advise them to reread my post, this time much more deliberately, and without being blinded by their hatred. They will see that NOWHERE DID I REQUEST OR EXPECT TO SPEAK. It was theirs and my, black brothers and sisters, who dragged me from the peripheral of the crowd, over to the organizers, requesting that I be allowed to speak.
