MY SAY>Christians are at the forefront of many great campaigns that seek to rid our nation of its evils, but the real test of our sincerity and impact is not how much we speak against such opposing causes but our attitude towards them. The consistent, earnest pursuit of a lifestyle that honors the commandments of the Lord, that is not of the same fashion like that of those we critisize, will do more than a lip-service campaign mounted against specific evils in the society. We cannot be a watchdog of the system and yet be clothed in the same garment, it only amounts to hypocrisy and a ridicle of our calling as the children of the Most High God. This does not mean campaigns directed against evils are unnecessary, but the effort put forth as of now are not enough at all to take care of the ever increasing ills as we experience today. Our land is overflowing with crimes of unimaginable latitude; the sort that we have never experienced against mankind and God, yet the Church feels convinienced with wimpers. Today, our Churches have been converted into fertile political campaign grounds, with the so-called servants of God blindfolded with heavy laddened envelopes of looted money. They remind you that the days of John the Baptist are over so no more need to shout woe, that you dont need to beat them but to join them. What a sick and madning crowd that has lost its conscience and bearing. They have become so addicted to perversion that there seem to be no solution to our predicament. Your faith in God is no avail so long as you are a compromiser. For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you again the first principles of the oracles of God; and you have come to need milk and not solid food (Hebrews 5:12). We have failed to teach our younger generation what they need to know about the realities of what the true worth of life is, so why should one be surprised that they take to the wrong side. When a father is irresponsible, what is expected of the house hold. It is indeed foolish to talk about being a child of God and then violate His commands. Everybody claim to know God these days, but how many are truely transparent in their daily activities? Without a sincerity of purpose we only deceive ourselves. Many go to Church on Sundays, but never give the will of God another thought the rest of the week. No wonder we can hardly make great impact in our society. Many will not like this post but the Lord Jesus Christ said, If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you. If you were of the world, the world would love its own. Yet because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you. (John 15:18-19). Many people do not realize, apparently, that if they willfully violate the laws of God and the commands of the Lord Jesus Christ, they are probably not Christians at all. The Lord Jesus Christ said, If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Fathers commandments and abide in His love. (John 15:10). IF THE LORD JESUS CHIRST IS TRUELY IN YOUR CONGREGATION WILL HE COMPROMISE????
