MY SAY>There are so many biblical promises of blessings that awaits all the children of God. Some are for the very present time, while others are for the future even unto eternity. Eternal blessings are promises that reflect the reality of faith in salvation, and they boost your courage over the fear that death is the end of the road and the grave a dark prison. Hell does exist and is worse than death and the grave, so salavtion, which is an eternal promise, provides the only escape route. Eternal promises nurture confidence, in view of that future occasion when God will fulfill them, because every promise is always a future event and its fulfillment depends on the capability of the promisor. The Bible assures us in Numbers 23:19 that, God is not a man, that He should lie, nor the son of man, that He should change His mind. Does He speak and not act? Does He promise and not fulfill? God has promise you a body like that of the Lord Jesus Christ, For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, Who will transform our lowly body that it may be conformed to His glorious body, according to the working by which He is able even to subdue all things to Himself. I do not know what can be compared to this wondeful blessed experience. But that is not all, God has promised that there will be no more sorrow, no more tears, no more death-the old things will have passed away (Revelation 21:4). You will live forever in a mansion prepared for you, living face-to-face with the Lord (John 14:1-3). WOW! How exciting and pleasant. With your eternal future settled, please focus on the promises He has designed for the temporal problems on earth which you will surely overcome in Jesus name, because you are more than a conqueror. These promises are truely yours to claim, in adversity and prosperity- today, tomorrow ,and always, because the Lord Jesus Christ has promised that, Teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age. (Matthew 28:20). WELL, I DO BELIEVE, DO YOU????
