MY SECRET FOR VICTORY The bible makes it clear that our battle which we face all the time is described as wrestling in Ephesians 6:12 thus; ‘For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.’ In other places like Joshua 6:20 and2 Chronicles 20:17-25 (especially 21-22) we read about how my Lord fights for me through the praises that I send into His throne of grace. The key to this is; (1) John 3:3 & 5; ‘3. Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God”.’ All what Jesus was saying here is unless a person is born from above, it’s not possible to see what He was talking about which is “God’s kingdom.” 5. Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. This is how the Message interprets verses 5-6; ‘Jesus said, “You’re not listening. Let me say it again. Unless a person submits to this original creation—the ‘wind-hovering-over-the-water’ creation, the invisible moving the visible, a baptism into a new life—it’s not possible to enter God’s kingdom. When you look at a baby, it’s just that: a body you can look at and touch. But the person who takes shape within is formed by something you can’t see and touch—the Spirit—and becomes a living spirit.’ (2) In Acts 3:2-12 we read about how Peter and John used the name of Jesus Christ to restore a lame man’s legs and made him to stand and walk. They have a secret that every man that has walked through that beautiful gate never had; [6. Then Peter said, “Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk”]. The lame man got up and walked. In verse 16, Peter explained their secret ‘And his name (Jesus Christ) through faith in his name hath made this man strong, whom ye see and know: yea, the faith which is by him hath given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.’ Faith in Christ Jesus did the miracle. You may ask; ‘Now what is the secret’? Try to study John chapters14 and 15 while we read this; Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world (1 John 4:4). Yes Christ that lives in us is the secret to victory and success (Joshua 1:8). PRAYER POINT: LORD, I come to you this day to ask that you dwell in me so that I may possess that victorious power which you have given to all those who live and follow after your wish (Matthew 28:18-20). If there is anything standing between you and me, I ask that you remove it/them through the power that is in your blood. Thank you Lord for I pray and ask in Jesus name….Amen.
