MY THOUGHTS ON REMOVAL OF RACE & RELIGION FROM GOVERNMENT FORMS I am not sure whats gone into the heads of those into this idea.. but I am not in agreement of this. I dont agree not because of the muslim, melayu spirit thingy, but more on the demographic and visibility that I or a decision maker can have on the things they do. Removing that part will reduce visibility and demographic done by an organisation (be it government, business or non-government organisation). You will lose some visibility on who are the people effected and affected by your initiative. In my line of work, such information is vital, so that study and research can properly being carried out, giving better visibility and angles, therefore can assist and leads to an informed decision. Therefore, if I am part of the government and need to make a decision, I will lose some visibility on any decision, initiative that I am to make. It is not because of race or religion, but it is about information for decision making...
