MY VEHICLES AFTER 1970 (several of you asked for it). After 3 months in India, 2 weeks in Nepal and two weeks in Thailand in 1971, I flew to Calcutta and came back to Finland overland by train, ride sharing, bus, hitchhiking and boat. Ex-wife needed help on in;laws farm for Summer. I bought an old VW Beetle, which i gave to in-laws when i left in September. Returning to US, I used my last $600 to buy an old 1961 Ford Econoline, that had no seas in back but some cabinets. I built a bed in back. I kept that and sometimes had to live in it, sometimes in Georgia, Florida or California. Rednecks sabotaged the van. I sold it to friend and came back to Georgia and Florida by bus. While in Gainesville Florida, I was offered a great deal on 1972 Mazda B160 pickup up with camper shell. I started back to college at University of Central Florida in January 1974, transferred to Cabrillo college in Aptos California in September 1974, and to California State University in January 1975, where i obtained B.A. in Fine Art. I sold the Mazda and bought a 1971 Ford Econoline van in 1976 (?) which had a couch recliner into bed in back. It was a great van, but must have had a cracked block because water kept getting in crank case. I sold it and bought an old 1969 Dodge utility pick up, with 4 on the floor with du-low and positive slip differential. I removed the utility back and built a house on back. I also bought a 13 camper trailer. After graduation in Dec 1977, I went back to East coast, Florida, Georgia and back to Florida. To be continued
