MY VERDICT. Atiku Abubakar : Very Influential among the political elite, he could be referred to as the political big boy haven acquired so much wealth as Vice president during Obasanjos regime and has some bad records and disconnect from the grass root. Not till he meets retribution he wont control as much needed votes from the grass root and outside the northern states!!! Gen. Muhammed Buhari : A Northern Grass root man, very disciplined and control the Northern grass-root havent being able to nurture a weak political party ( the defunct CPC ), and made away with 12million votes as against GEJS 22million votes. But he is considered a Religion Extremist therefore making it difficult for him to get votes from christian minorities in the far north and christian majority in the South-west, south-east and south-south. Gov. Rabiu Kwankwaso : A Goodman, visionary leader and generally accepted by Christian Minorities and Muslim majorities, he is a doyen of transparency and credibility and also one who is stubborn enough to do that which is right and just . He is the man we can easily convince the religious sentimental south-south people to vote for without being forced to use sugar coated tongues.... ( If not, we would venture into a futile case of pouring water on the ducks back) !!!
