MY VERSE IN FIGHTING MYSELF (i put myself in da shoes of an artist dat sold his/her soul for fame and riches) Lord forgive me for my past, my present and my future/ neva had a lotta chances so im dancing wit medussa/ was a bum, a loser, and to make it in da game/ i pledged allegience to da fiend and yall can tell just by da change/ im now considered a cool kid, shit i gotta be/ got a bergn mentality/ twisted just like anatomy/ but a part of me is saying/ i best depart from da game/ it started off well and easy but now im losing my brain/ let me explain... I went from preaching, reading da bible/ to visiting ma nganga bakamba, worshiping idols/ not even my hommies know dis secret/ see on da surface im happy but really im lonely, drowning at da deep end/ my pockets is full but my soul is empty/ sacrificed so many people, hope yall dont resent me/ for dis blood on my hands, hommy soap wont work/ but for God is da kingdom, da power and da glory, for hope i search/ im puttin effort in dodging da hearse/ somebody help me in turning a leaf and breaking dis curse/ mulungu wanga im sorry, i pray my sins be forgiven/ life is like a pie, appreciate any slice dat you are given/ success is a given, when you seperate da needs from da wants/ wats it gon be?
