MY VISION OF THE LADY OF GUADALUPE OUR BLESSED MOTHER MARY BY Terri Sings with Ravens Rivera My childhood could be described as tough and violent One night when I was 5 everything seemed so dark. My body hurt because of the bruises, my mother was not allowed to comfort me, I was so hopeless so helpless I didnt even have the strength to cry. I remember staring blankly at the wall staring, staring for hours. The wall opened, out came a women followed by a long line of children. She stopped by my bed and said Its time for you to go home. I didnt react didnt care. She paused for a moment then continued moving, went into the other wall, disappeared. I laid there Despondent, Motionless. I felt no emotion, Just kept staring at the wall. Then, suddenly, the room filled with light, bright pink and white. There in front of me was The Lady of Guadalupe Our Virgin Mary! At first, I was very afraid and pulled my blanket over my head to hide. Then after a while I peeked out to look at her. Her smile took all my fear away. She said to me Am I not here, here beside you? Am I not here to heal all this pain? Am I not here to spiritually guide you? Am I not here to heal all this pain? For the first time in a long time I smiled I felt, felt happy. A warm, warm embrace of pure love like I had never felt before, the love filled me. I can still feel it to this day. Well, I wish I could say the physical and mental abuse stopped but it didnt. However she taught me how to jump out of my body look down upon my father with compassion, without pain. I could see his frustration his hatred of himself this made me very sad and he looked so small. When I started writing my visions into song my father listened he said you understand me. I am so sorry for everything I did to you, I love you. I said yes I forgive you and we all deserve to be filled with love. All my life she is with me to spiritually guide me. I love to share this love and healing whenever I can. It was this experience that inspired the song ‘My Lady Sings (Grandmother Aurelia’s song)’ Take a listen wont you and feel that embrace.
