MY mika! she was 9 years old and the BEST dog i ever had! she was my best friend i loved going in the back yard and being with her she always got excited to see me she has been really sick for the past few months she had diabetes and we thought she was pregnant because she started getting fat and looked like she was healthly again she was still herself full of energy and the past week she has been in pain and we didnt know why she was real big and last night i hugged her and said it will be ok girl I LOVE YOU, not knowing that would be the last time i got to hug her! nick came home at 6 and gave her water and food she ate a little and right now i went back there to check on her and see how she was doing and her lifeless body was laying there so peaceful, i yelled her named and nothing, usually when i open the gate she gets excited and waits for me to come in, we were getting ready to leave to the store and the kids and nick were in the car and i ran and yelled to nick i think mika is dead when he went back there and said yea she is i couldnt help but cry i touched her head and neck and said im sorry, my poor baby must have been in pain for a week and we didnt know she never showed it, my boxer was 9 years old and i miss her already. found out she had liver failure and bleeding internally and her body was hemorrhaging, but i am glad she no longer is in pain i hope she knew how much i love her and will miss her!!!
