MYG is all about the spirit of giving. We are here to make a positive change to our forgotten people of Mombasa. MYG is the first ever community based organisation in Mombasa who have invented monthly fee contribution among its members and well wishers apart from one off donation and gifts etc. MYG will not be just an ordinary group and that’s why we have introduced Ksh 500 per head monthly contribution membership fee. We believe through our monthly collection we will be a self sustainable, self reliant organisation. Most of the groups out there locally and internationally depend on well wishers and grants from government and corporate companies however we want to be a unique independent organisation one of its kinds in Mombasa and Kenya in general. We will be very open with utmost honesty and integrity. MYG will be fully responsible and accountable towards its field of work. MYG wants to transform lives. We want to bring smile back to the orphans who desperately need love and care. We want to deliver the mission impossible and make history to our society. We want to campaign for change and build the skills of the local people and the orphans who will be the leaders of tomorrow. MYG want to use practical technologies and make sure the right skills exist in the community so that we can be a self reliant society. MYG plans to work closely with local and International partners and invest wisely in the future of local communities to bring economic empowerment especially to our women. This is an essential part of our work as we believe it is the most progressive and sustainable approach. The sheer scale of the crisis in Mombasa orphans and poverty means that we cant solve this mission alone. The incredible generosity and commitment of all our members, supporters, individuals, institutions and companies is behind everything we do.
