MYSTORY This is me explaining myself. This is me practicing my humility for the people I love, my family. This is pure me: straight forward, plain and simple me. No agenda. No expectation. My words are the best tools to describe me, hence I will use them. OK HERE WE GO WHY, FACEBOOK. This Facebook platform is where the majority of Hawaiis social networking community intersects. I realize this a year and a half ago when I began documenting my postings. Information spreads like wildfire here. I was intrigued by one observation: How certain people interpreted information. I was curious how one story can be told very differently in many different eyes, into many different Stories. RIDDLE ME THIS. Some questions I asked: Why? What variable changes a persons lens as they view the movie projected before them? Is this variable controlled by nurture or nature? Can the variable be altered to achieve favorable results? Is the projected movie Truth? How much of the projected movie is controlled by the viewer/performer? Who writes the script? Do multiple scripts exist? Is time and space determined or created? And by whom? Is it a participatory action? What is the relationship between the variable, movie, viewer, performer, and present moment? Does anything but present moment exists? Each question would reveal answers leading to more questions. Eventually, a simple explanation emerged explaining everything. HUH? These questions are very important because they are all interconnected in helping understand myself and each other. There is a logical progression of thought and information contained here. Knowledge is being shared. Wisdom is derived by the observing and interpreting information. First, I needed to find out my own thought process. I wrote it down, simplified meanings and definitions, and created a manual on myself and my capabilities. This manual I adopted as my company Standard, Rules of Engagement, and Vision, Mission, Core. My company is a direct duplication of me in the business world. Then I compared my information with others gathered and shared information and analyzed it. My simple outcome: 1) A persons definition of Love defines the viewer. 2) A persons definition of family creates the script. 3) A persons comprehension of suffering and pain clouds the lens. 4) A persons current situation is the most truthful measure of a persons overall thought process. You are what you think. You are what you do. Its the same movie and script, same truth simply being interpreted differently in many different ways. KAHUNA KAHUNA When I began researching and refreshing my Hawaiian history and culture, I stumbled upon a truth. I noticed the information I gathered on the Hawaiian Pono Belief System mimicked my overall manual of self. I found it very interesting. My colleagues observed in delight as I was finally learning and accepting my Self. This was also the first time I noticed a reaction concerning this spiritual topic from certain few individuals here in Hauula. I shook things up. For a reason. Everything is connected. In stepping into this forbidden territory, I have seemed to awaken some thing. Being Catholic, I give no merit to the Previous Kahuna system. Jesus is my savior. The previous kahuna system was a usurped way of living based on a invading force from Tahiti/Samoa. It is not the Hawaiian Pono Value System. Although I give not power to it, I realized, other people do. Some fear it, some practice it. To me, it is just information to be gathered and analyzed. More on the next post. . .
