Ma has gone gently into the light. Dear Family and Friends, Please accept thanks on behalf of the entire family for your support, kindness and love during this time. Mama, as my Ma was reverently called by many many brothers and sisters from all over the world, has gone gently into the light. Her entire life was a lesson of love and gentleness even as she waited on her appointed time of passage. Ma was an inspiration who will live in the hearts of many for the rest of our lives. Her life represented a true story of revolution, love, leadership, academia, motherhood, priesthood, honesty, dedication, humility, absolute trust and faith in the Almighty....and much more. She provided a home, not for her immediate family alone, but for the dozens that came, lived, shared and cared. Our family is as big as the world because of the love shown by our Ma and our Pa to every soul who came our way, regardless of race or religion. She showed how to live and to love selflessly. It was with tears, yet tears of love and dedication; of pride for Mas achievements and glory, that we performed our duty to the final rites - a ceremony joined by many who participated in one way or the other from many parts of the country and the world. The spiritual brotherhood from India, Pakistan, Africa, USA, Canada, England, Ireland, Suriname, Trinidad and many other places and persons too numerous to mention, provided the wonderful bridge of strength and guidance through the antyeshti sanskaara and the final closure of an era. Our thanks and love to you all. Ma, you will live forever in our hearts as the Goddess that you were. We are proud to have been your children and to have placed our heads in your lap and at your feet and to have received your blessing, Ma Rajkumarie Devi. Wherever there is light, there is your smile, Ma.
