Ma, its been 4 years since youve gone to your heavenly abode... You believed that work is worship.. you worked harder than anyone Ive known You kept yourself so busy ... every minute of every day... You didnt know what it meant to relax ... with a cup of coffee or tea... We had all our conversations while some task or chore was being done... You will always be the smartest dressed woman I have ever known.. In the crispest of cotton saris..and an unbeatable smile.. You made it a point to touch everyones life with your love and concern From the vegetable vendor in Monda market to every colleague, friend and family too.. You did have a sense of humour and we yearned to hear that wholehearted laugh of yours ....that made us laugh even more! I always smile when I remember that you always chose to wear your oldest sari on our Saturday vegetable shopping trip to Monda market on your TVS scooty ... and when I protested saying Maaa..please wear something else!! Pat would come the reply..this is perfect for that slushy market .. and if you happen to bump into any of your friends there..you can always introduce me as your maid!!! Youll always be the most tech savvy mom I have known..I miss our yahoo chats! No one has ever called me with the same unconditional love and concern ... Every single day to ask How are you Hema? I miss that..and have numbed my brain to not remember .. You believed in the power of prayer and positive intention..more than anyone I know.. I know that you have caused more miracles in my life .. With the strength and love of your spirit after youve gone.. I can feel it everyday in all the good I have experienced since youve gone! I cherish all you have given me, Ma ..
