Ma, its not enough to say thanks for all that you do for us each day. Were perfect monsters (except Bushu) most of the time, and we are eternally grateful that you tolerate us in spite of our grumbling, groaning, rude, self-important selves! We love the fact that you applaud each of our successes, no matter how minor or insignificant they are, even to ourselves... like the way you pat and say lokkhi chhele to a particular one of us when he has successfully barked at the kitty on the opposite wall, at least 10 feet away from him and who obviously didnt give a hoot! We also love that you try to stay interested and involved in all that we do - like that time you said you were worried about Keya eating barettos everyday... and how I get hyper every time (why did we ever teach you that one?) We love how you stand your ground and teach us to be respectful and patient. We love how you are a one-man army and manage the house and us with ease (and some gnashing of teeth!) We love how you are actually the really strong one and make sure we keep together in a crisis. We also love it when you get exasperated with us! And the way you refuse to lose your cool when we are insufferable. You can be quite scary as well even though you are the tiniest one of us, except Bushu of course... and you are the best thing to come home to after a long tiring day! We love your small idiosyncracies and quirks and how you insist on drinking sludgy green synthetic aam panna in summer...Momzie, you are a darling and we love you lots!
