Maa Raazi / tu RABB Raazi Maa khafa / tu RABB khafa ------ The Hadith 1 . The Prophet Muhammad said, may Allahs peace and blessings be upon him: Your Heaven lies under the feet of your mother (Ahmad, Nasai). 2 . A man came to the Prophet and said, ‘O Messenger of God! Who among the people is the most worthy of my good companionship? The Prophet said: Your mother. The man said, ‘Then who? The Prophet said: Then your mother. The man further asked, ‘Then who? The Prophet said: Then your mother. The man asked again, ‘Then who? The Prophet said: Then your father. (Bukhari, Muslim). ------- Surah Al-israh 17:23 (al quran) And treat your parents with kindness; if either of them or both reach old age in your presence, do not say Uff* to them and do not rebuff them, and speak to them with the utmost respect.And lower your wing humbly for them, with mercy, and pray, My Lord! Have mercy on them both, the way they nursed me when I was young. (17:23-24) ------- (Al Quran) 46:15 We have enjoined man to be kind to his parents. In pain did his mother bear him and in pain did she give birth to him. The carrying of the child to his weaning is a period of thirty months. ------- (Al Quran). 31:14 And We have enjoined upon man [care] for his parents. His mother carried him, [increasing her] in weakness upon weakness, and his weaning is in two years.
