Maandag 28-10 MORE THAN THE ACTUAL ACTION, SEE THE INTENT BEHIND THE ACTION This is a very simple, yet profound Teaching. Most often, you will find yourself forming opinions about others and act accordingly. But, we fail to see where the person is coming from, which is the source of any action. Sometimes, a persons behavior and words one uses are dependent on the temperature outside, hurt caused by somebody at home, past program during childhood, in the mothers womb or from past lives etc. Hence, we cant judge a person as good or bad because whatever judgement we pass on a person is our view which has been formed in our brain again coming from various sources. Apart from seeing where the other person is coming from, it is more important to see where we are coming from. Then we will know what our or others intent is. Hence, a contemplation on our intent gives us much more clarity. Many times we are not conscious of our intent and many a time we also deviate from our vision and thus get into problems and suffering. This also can be well understood when we become aware of the fact that the world is governed by principles. One such principle is the Principle of Cause and Effect. For whatever is happening, there is a cause. Hence, we have see the intent and many problems will be solved.
