Maaveerar Naal is to remember the sacrifice of our heroes, remembering their sacrifice and unconditional love for our people and our homeland. Let us remember it together as we always did before. Let us not heed to those people that purposely try to demoralize the liberation movement. Simply put: No one takes this much effort to remove the ban on tigers, work towards pushing canada to recognize the Tamil identity as unique and different from the Sri Lankans, open up a park to remember the victims of the riots and massacres (the ongoing genocide), give an independent non for profit progressive avenue for our artists, investing into our youth and many more. We could do so many things to move our struggle forward rather than trying to establish yourself personally by exploiting the struggle and our Tamil people. Talk about mommy/daddy problems when these people were kids manifested today into a huge problem that they want to prove themselves by fighting over whos bigger than the other.
