Mabenga Counsels Kaingu, Chituwo Former MMD chairman Michael Mabenga has advised the Michael Kaingu led faction to be more conciliatory in their tone if they still want to remain in the ruling party. Mabenga said the Kaingu and Chituwo led team who have since been stripped of their senior party positions should have sought dialogue internally before going public in their condemnation of the party president. He said it was difficult for party president Nevers Mumba to reach out to a crowd that had gone public in their condemnation of his leadership before they could dialogue with him. Mabenga said the Kaingu and Chituwo led team should take part of the blame for the position the party finds itself in.
