Macaroni update : Day 3 of her healing journey I havent been able to pet Macaroni yet as she growls when I get close. Instead, Ive been using a play wand to get her used to touch and comfort her, as Ive used this strategy in the past to tame ferals. At the end of video, you can see my hand sneaking in to pet her. Macaroni did not protest my touch since she thought it was still the wand. But it was her first loving human touch while conscious, nonetheless. This is the first step to breaking the feralness down and taming her. THESE are the little miracles WE get to see and experience, that makes all the effort and sacrifice so worthwhile.
