It was a gathering of the who is who in Isoko Political leadership as Secretary to the Delta State Government Comrade Ovuozourie Macaulay and Deputy Majority Leader House of Representatives Rt. Hon. Leo Okuweh Ogor led a delegation of Isoko Political class to Umeh town in Isoko South Local Government Area of Delta State for the funeral ceremony of late Papa Obi, uncle to Barrister Duncan Afahokor the Administrator of popular Isoko Online Advocacy group on Facebook Umeh Need Road UNR. The ceremony which was held at the Umeh Primary School was witnessed by the cream of Isoko Political players and were received on arrival by Barrister Duncan Afahokor and his delectable wife Mrs Ese Afahokor. The occasion afforded the political leaders the opportunity to drive on the recently completed Umeh Road Project executed by the Delta State Government. The occasion looked more like a political rally when the APC flag bearer for Delta State House of Assembly Isoko South 2 Hon. Chief Ferguson Onwo thronged the venue of the burial ceremony with hundreds of fans and supporters. The Umeh Primary School venue of the burial reception was full of construction works as new block of classrooms were being constructed as well as perimeter fencing of the school by the Delta State Government. All indigenes interviewed agreed that the PDP Administration under the astute leadership of His Excellency Governor Emmanuel Eweta Uduaghan has done very well for the agrarian community of Umeh Kingdom.
