Mack is a very special little boy who deserves to win this competition. Mack isnt just a special boy because he is the most loved dog in the world. He is special because he survived what many pups dont survive...... a cleft palate. For those of you who do not know what this is, its where the roof of the mouth does not close properly. Many puppies die from complications because the food and fluids enter the nasal cavity and without the swallow reflex to close the windpipe these foods and fluids often end up in the lungs. For Mack to be alive today, he has to be a very special boy indeed
