Mackenzie has been relatively unchanged for over a day now, her stats improved slightly the night before last and have stayed there for over 24 hours now. The drs and nurses are focusing on giving her time to rest and recoup and provide the care she needs but nothing is being done to challenge her or bother her unnecessarily. She is very cozy in her bed all wrapped up head to toe, the lights are kept low and her sleep sheep has been on the ocean setting around the clock. Hopefully this down time will allow Mackenzie the chance to rebuild her strength and march forward in this battle. We are so blessed that Mackenzie has had amazing nurses and doctors that genuinely care about her and treat her like she is their own child, without that this process would be unbearable. Mackenzies nurse made this sign for her room yesterday to make sure our princess was not disturbed. Thank you for your continued thoughts and prayers.
