Macon County Weather Briefing for Sunday, September 13, 2014 Our weather will remain a bit unsettled (although with lot less rain than expected) into early next week. The next cold front will arrive in the middle of the week and promises to bring a little cooler air with it. TODAY Patchy dense fog this morning. Cloudy with highs in the lower 70s. Winds will be light and variable this morning, then will come out of the northwest in the afternoon hours. 60% chance of rain. Less than a tenth of an inch is expected, more may be possible in locations hit by passing thunderstorms. TONIGHT Mostly cloudy with lows around 60 with winds being from the east before midnight, then from the south afterwards. 40% chance of rain. SUNDAY Mostly cloudy with highs in the mid 70s and light winds out of the south. 40% chance of rain. SUNDAY NIGHT Mostly cloudy with lows around 60 and light winds out of the south. 40% chance of rain.
